Hiking Boulder Canyon Trail

Today we enjoyed the short Boulder Canyon Trail, a fairly easy but rewarding hike in the Superstition Wilderness.

The drive took us out past the very trailheads we had already hiked from earlier at Lost Dutchman state park. The parking is at a privately operated marina and we were surprised to see all of the hiker spots full. Turns out there were three or four hiking club groups already on the trail. We parked near the designated spots without incident.

The hike was gorgeous and left us wanting more. We might return in a few weeks to do a one or two night backpacking trip.
